No. SplitMate does not process or hold payments. You pay through your own UPI app, then mark your share as paid inside SplitMate.
Yes. Create an expense, select the friends involved, and SplitMate splits it equally and shows each person's share.
After paying, a participant taps “I've Paid”. The person who originally paid for the expense can then verify or reject it. Once the payments are verified, the expense is settled.
No, and it doesn't pretend to. SplitMate doesn't read your bank or UPI history. The payer's verification is what confirms a payment.
Yes. SplitMate can show a friend's UPI ID or QR code and can open a supported UPI app with the amount filled in. The payment itself happens in that app.
